Marshall N. Dana papers, 1869-1969 (bulk 1910-1966).

Papers mostly concern Dana's professional activities. Included are materials relating to Dana's editorial work for the Oregon Journal, such as research notes and drafts of writings, plus extensive files on organizations in which Dana was involved. Especially well documented is his work on issues such as civic and regional planning, conservation, and river and harbor improvements. Of special interest is Dana's manuscript diary of his fact-finding trip to Asia in 1947. The collection also contains materials created by Dana's second wife, Martha Ferguson McKeown Dana. Two of the scrapooks document conventions of the Pacific Coast Advertising Clubs Association, 1926-1927.
